Welcome to the Tenth Macau Symposium on Biomedical Sciences 2024
The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) of the University of Macau (UM) is delighted to announce our annual faculty highlight 10th Macau Symposium on Biomedical Sciences (MSBS2024) scheduled to take place from 13 to 15 June 2024 at University Hall (N2) of UM, with a theme of “PUSHING THE LIMIT”.
This annual MSBS aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results with topics on but not limited to Diagnostic Imaging and Drug Delivery, Cancer Immunology, Translational Trial/ Personalized Cancer Therapy, Cancer as a Systemic Disease, Tumour Microenvironment and Metastasis, Metabolism, Signaling Networks and Therapeutics, Developmental Induction, Single Cell Analysis, Stem Cells, Epigenetics, Infectious Diseases, Genome Editing, Reprograming, and New Technology and so on. It also provide a premier interdisciplinary platform for direct and efficient communications that foster new scientific ideas and lead to novel advances in the biomedical science field.
MSBS has been the hallmark event of FHS since 2014. Last year, we were grateful to have gathered over 600 participants and scholars from different regions. Particularly, it was our pleasure to have Dennis Lo of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China; and Mien-Chie Hung of the China Medical University, Taiwan, China as our keynote speaker in MSBS2023.
In MSBS2024, we are very honoured to have some renowned scientists, including Xiao-Fan Wang of Duke University School of Medicine, USA; Manuel Valiente of Valiente Lab Brain Metastasis Group, Spain; Keji Zhao of Epigenome Biology, National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, USA; Di Yu of University of Queensland, Austria and Cantas Alev of Kyoto University, Japan will be sharing their latest research.
